Hard Ice Guide Trainee
Seasonal guide from 2004 mostly on glaciated peaks like Hvannadalshnjukur, highest peak of Iceland, and its neighbor Hrutsfjall. Also hard ice tours on outlet glaciers and ice climbing trips for Icelandic Mountain Guides. Member of ICE-SAR mountain rescue from the year 2000, certifications include Wilderness First Responder and Rigging for Rescue. Various work on guiding, rigging and stunt climbing for movies, TV and events. Other guiding includes mountain bike trips in the highlands and guiding a month long deep field science expedition to Dronning Louise Land in Greenland for the National Science Foundation.
